Specialist Gray & Adams Multi Temperature Iveco for Breen Transport

 

Gethings Garage Enniscorthy have just supplied a first specially designed and built Iveco / Gray & Adams Multi Temperature / Multi Drop hanging meat body to Breen Transport, Ferns Co. Wexford. The custom built unit is based on a brand new Iveco 180 E 25 Euro 5 day cabbed chassis – one of the last of the Euro 5 Chassis’s available.

The body is a custom designed and Belfast built Gray & Adams multi temperature hanging meat transportation body with the capacity to carry hanging meat at 2 different temperatures or in fact, any temperature controlled cargo at one or two temperatures as specifically requested in order to meet with the flexibility requirements of Breen Transport.

Clever design and use of the Gray & Adams bespoke “Cool Blue “ custom fit closed cell mattress type moving bulkhead has allowed for 2 compartment multi temperature use or single compartment, single temperature use. In order to use the 2 compartment system to its full potential barn doors with heavy duty centrally located triple fold down steps have been fitted to both the rear and passenger side of the body.

Gray & Adams has over 50 years of experience in the design and manufacture of bespoke custom built bodies and are renowned for the strength and durability of their bodies and their meat rail bodies in particular – just look at the protection as supplied in the vicinity of the “ Cool Blue “ door !
